2025 AIS Region 17 Annual Meeting

   August 1-2 2025

Abilene, TX

This year’s Region 17 Annual meeting will be August 1-2 in Abilene, Texas.  

Our host club is the newest Region 17 affiliate – The Big Country Iris Society.

 This is an ambitious undertaking for a brand-new club that officially launched in February, 2025. 

 Abilene is around a 3 hour easy drive from the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex, and the location venue is easy to find.  Let’s support this new club by planning to attend.  If you have never gone to a Regional before, it is lots of fun.  Good food, you get to meet loads of other Texas, and some ‘foreign’, iris growers, bid in an iris auction and a silent auction, listen to some speakers, get free iris in your goody bag, and lots more.  So, plan a weekend vacation trip to West Texas and join us.
